SUPPLIERS

We have sourced are ingredients to as close to our base in the Surrey Hills as possible. We think this is important as as well as it making our pizzas taste amazing it also helps with the environment too.

Flour

Heygates

These guys are an old fashioned mill using British grain for the flour for our dough.

Tomatoes

Nutbourne Tomatoes- A top British tomato grower who specialises in Heritage varieties. These are in season over the summertime. 

Cheese

La Latteria, Fior di Latte- These guys are an amazing cheese producer making Italian cheeses in London. They make us a cheese similar to mozzarella but with less moisture which creates the perfect melt. 

Goodwood Farm- They have an organic herd of dairy shorthorn cattle which they turn into 3 different cheeses. We use their Charlton cheddar to add a savoury hit to our pizza. We also use their Brie and blue on our specials.  

Village Maid - Based just near Reading, this cheese maker produces several award-winning cheeses such as Maida Vale and Blue Molecomb. We use them for our specials such as The Smelly Frenchman and The Popeye. 

Charcuterie

Capreolus- By using Rare breed pork and traditional curing techniques these guys produce the best charcuterie in the area. We should know, we tested quite a few! 

Vegetables

We grow as many of our own ingredients as possible. We use no dig methods combined with no use of chemicals and heritage varieties to grow the best possible ingredients for our pizza.  Check out our instagram page at surreyhillswoodfiredpizza. The Surrey Hills pizza with our homegrown Italian variety of courgettes was a clear winner!

Sonder's Farm

Less than a mile from our base grows the most amazing asparagus. We use it as much as we can in the short growing season from April to June.
